Indian Navy was fully prepared to attack Karachi, big revelation on Operation

Tensions between India and Pakistan, which have been ongoing for several days, have eased slightly. Tensions between the two countries had escalated when India, in retaliation for the Pahalgam terrorist attack, carried out attacks against terrorists in Pakistan as part of Operation Sindoor.

During this period, the two countries clashed on numerous occasions. On Sunday, while speaking about Operation Sindoor, the Indian Navy revealed that during this period it was also fully prepared and capable of engaging selected targets at sea and on land, including Karachi.

During the joint press conference of the three forces on Operation Sindoor, Vice Admiral A.N. Pramod stated, “Our naval forces were fully deployed in the Arabian Sea, in a decisive position, with the capability to engage selected targets at sea and on land, including Karachi.”

The vice admiral held a press conference alongside his counterparts from the Indian Army and Air Force on Operation Sindoor. The Director General of Naval Operations (DGNO) stated that the Navy tested and refined tactics and procedures at sea during the firing of multiple weapons in the Arabian Sea in the 96 hours following the terrorist attack.

The senior naval officer also indicated that the forward deployment of naval forces forced Pakistan to maintain a defensive posture, primarily within ports or very close to the coast, which was constantly monitored by the Indian Army. “The Indian Navy maintained maritime surveillance at all times and was fully aware of the location and movements of Pakistani units,” he stated.
