The news was confirmed by Turki Alalshikh, who has taken over boxing’s mega-mergers with Saudi Arabian money. The alliance between Dana White, Sela, and Alalshikh to stage this card in Las Vegas is a step forward for a sport that seeks to capture the sports world’s attention every Saturday.
PROMOTIONAL TOUR IN THREE CITIES
According to The Ring Magazine, the promotional tour will take place in three cities, beginning on June 20 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, at the site where ‘Canelo’ Álvarez and Crawford stood face to face to seal their September fight.
The press conference will continue on June 22 in New York, where thousands of spectators will be able to watch the two boxers.
June 27 in Las Vegas will be the last time Canelo and Crawford will see each other before fight week.
