Milanese curves investigation, attempted murder investigation of Luca Lucci’s partner

Despite the Milan prosecutor’s investigations, or perhaps because of them, the leaders of Milan’s South Curve, decimated by arrests, continue to live through violent and turbulent days. Yesterday, the Milan DDA, with prosecutors Paolo Storari and Sara Ombra, already in charge of the large, multi-pronged investigation into the San Siro curves, opened a case involving attempted murder and illegal possession of weapons for the Thursday ambush in Via Imbriani against Luca Guerrini, a Milanese ultra-right winger very close to Luca Lucci, the former leader of the South Curve, who has been in prison since September 30th, following the massive police and Gdf operation against the leaders of the Meazza curves and their associates. A mid-afternoon mafia ambush

According to the Mobile Brigade’s initial investigation, two people on a motorcycle fired three shots at the car of 27-year-old Guerrini, owner of a tattoo parlor and barbershop in a chain run by Lucci himself. Guerrini managed to escape from the car unharmed.

According to reconstructions, the shooter was the motorcycle passenger, who fired two shots that lodged in Guerrini’s car without hitting it. After the third shot, the weapon, a modified 9mm blank-firing pistol, jammed. Investigators found a large flag and a banner of the Milanese curve in a backpack inside the 27-year-old’s car.

Guerrini’s Resume
Guerrini, who has a minor criminal record for robbery, had been the subject of an investigation for an intimidating banner placed under the home of Inter player Federico Dimarco, who, following the 2023 Champions League derby, insulted AC Milan fans at the stadium.

Guerrini was questioned yesterday by investigators, who are analyzing cameras in the area and a dash cam installed in his Audi. The man explained to investigators that he didn’t know the motive for the shooting, suggesting, without the report explicitly stating so, that it could have been a case of mistaken identity. This version, however, doesn’t convince investigators, who believe it was anything but an improvised action with a very specific target.

The dynamics of the ambush are reminiscent of the attempted murder of AC Milan fan Enzo Anghinelli, also committed in Milan in 2029 for reasons related to drug trafficking and control of the Curva. Anghinelli managed to escape despite receiving a blow to the head. Investigations into this latest episode linked to the world of the Curves are focusing on business and other matters, as well as the dynamics of the reorganization of the Ultras following Lucci’s arrest.

Meanwhile, Lucci testified in the bunker courtroom.

Yesterday, in the courtroom of the bunker in Piazza Filangieri, in the abbreviated multi-part trial on the Curve case, Luca Lucci appeared behind closed doors, after having answered questions from the defense in two previous hearings. Lucci is accused, among other charges, of the attempted murder of Anghinelli, as the alleged instigator. Meanwhile, at the Milan Palace of Justice, in another aspect of the same major investigation, Mauro Russo, a former member of the Inter Nord team, former partner of Paolo Maldini and Bobo Vieri (not implicated in the investigation), and, above all, the alleged intermediary in the extortion of businessman Gherardo Zaccagni in the parking business near the San Siro stadium, was questioned.

Russo is under house arrest after being arrested along with six other people in recent days. In this case, the charges being contested by the DDA, to varying degrees, include extortion, usury, and issuing invoices for non-existent transactions. The aggravating circumstance of facilitating the Bellocco clan’s mafia work is also being contested for some crimes.
