Everything is ready for the 2025 CONCACAF Gold Cup Semifinals

The semifinal matches for the 2025 Gold Cup have been defined, where Mexico, Honduras, Guatemala, and the United States will be the main countries in search of being crowned in the  18th edition of the tournament.

Mexico heads into the final looking to retain its title from the previous edition, while Guatemala, led by Luis Fernando “Flaco” Tena, will try to maintain its status as the tournament’s dark horse.

These were the  results  in the  quarterfinal stage  of the 2025 Gold Cup:

–  Honduras 1(5)-(4)1 Panama 1.

–  Mexico 2-0 Saudi Arabia.

–  Guatemala 1(6)-(5)1 Canada.

–  United States 2(4)-(3)2 Costa Rica.

*  El Tri was the only team that didn’t need a penalty shootout to qualify for the final.

GUATEMALA VVS.UNITED STATES

Guatemala has advanced to the semifinals of the 2025 Gold Cup for the second time in its history, while the United States  —without its star players—is seeking its eighth title in the tournament’s history.

Whoever wins will become the first finalist of he 2025 Gold Cup.

Schedule: 5:0 PM,  Mexico City Central Time.

Stadium capacity: City Ark in St. Louis City / 22,423 spectators.

What happens if they tie? There will be a direct penalty shootout.

MEXICO VS HONDURAS

Mexico remains undefeated in the 2025 Gold Cup and will face Honduras in the tournament’s semifinals, a country that‘s yet to eliminate El Tri after three win-or-die matches.

The  Mexican National Team is the biggest winner in the history of the tournament ( 9 titles ), while ‘ La H ‘ has never lifted the scepter.
