Hutchens Industries' Hutch 9800 series of heavy-duty trailer slider systems can fit requirements for a standard 49-in (1245-mm) tandem axle or a widespread axle application.
Its overall subframe heights from 8.5 to 10.5 in (216 to 267 mm) deep, combined with the Hutch 9700 series suspension, result in a wide variation of mounting heights and weight capacities up to 25,000 lb (11,340 kg) per axle. The Hutch EZ-PULL pin release system comes standard on the 9800 series and the Hutch P3 air-actuated system is available as an option. Features of the Hutch 9800 series include full-length slider pads made from ultrahigh molecular weight (UHMW) material, symmetrical crossmembers for more uniform stress distribution, and side rails made from high-strength, low-alloy steel.
