Famous for its electric racing motorcycles, MotoCzysz has developed a highly integrated e-drive system based around Remy's HVH 250 traction motor.
D1g1tal Dr1ve—the spelling is not a typo—is a new, highly integrated electric-drive module for EV passenger cars and light trucks. It was developed by electric motorcycle maker MotoCzysz, which provided systems integration, and Remy Electric Motors, maker of the HVH 250 traction motor employed. D1g1tal Dr1ve is a complete system of matched integrated components, including motor, controller, cooling system, final drive, and differential. It is enclosed in a lightweight aluminum shell to deliver efficiency and compactness. According to the manufacturer, the D1g1tal Dr1ve offers a new level of systems integration and is an easy and quick solution for any manufacturer needing an electric-drive system. Manufacturers are tasked only with providing power to the unit and connecting their final drive to the D1g1tal Dr1ve, reducing the time and cost of bringing their vehicles to market. D1g1tal Dr1ve is claimed to be the smallest packaging solution available for an integrated electric-drive system while producing up to 1150 N·m (848 lb·ft) and 75 kW of power using the Remy HVH 250 motor.
