Developed by Behr America engineers, the company’s storage evaporator is designed for vehicles equipped with start-stop systems.
 The Behr evaporator stores energy that can be used to help maintain cabin temperatures and airflow. This function is especially important for hybrid vehicles equipped with a start-stop system in which the air-conditioning compressor shuts off during “stop” phases of operation with a negative impact on interior temperature levels as well as the elimination of unpleasant odor.
