Diesel injection controlThe OpenECU S070 compact slave electronics module design from Pi Shurlok adds direct drive capability for common-rail diesel fuel injectors to the cost-effective OpenECU M2xx family of intelligent electronics control modules. The module can be configured to provide up to six fully protected drive channels that are particularly suitable for solenoid injectors. Each drive channel is specified for 25 A peak drive current and 15 A holding current that also allows the module to be used to add additional high drive capability to any OpenECU control module for prototyping or low-volume projects. Engineered to rigorous automotive and defense industry standards, the OpenECU S070 module is supplied in the same chassis mount, with sealed metal enclosures and IP67 environmental protection, as the OpenECU M250.
