Goepel electronic says its smartCAR hardware interface is a completely new solution for vehicle electronics test and diagnostic applications.
It allows the simple use of CAN, LIN and K-line communication interfaces by externally pluggable transceiver modules.
It is connected to the system by means of a USB 2.0 interface and allows transport protocols, diagnostic and rest bus simulation (onboard).
The small, compact and easy to adapt smartCAR is realtime-capable and can be run independently from the PC operating system. The interface can be configured for individual applications and because of its modular architecture, support for future transceiver types is ensured.
Applications are test and diagnostic systems as well as user-specific test tasks for mixed bus systems.
