Piezo buzzer surface-mounts

01/01/2008 Email to a friend   Comment on this article
Self-driving piezo buzzers are mainly available only as leadwire or pin termination types. Bujeon Europe has made an SMT version.

The BE-P1414C Series (14,3 x 14,3 x 8,0mm) with SMT termination is said to be ideal when space is tight. With an SPL minimum of 85dB (10cm measuring distance), buzzers are available in both 5V and 12V versions. They operate at –40 to +85ºC and conform to RoHS. Working mode current consumption is 8mA (5Vdc, 4kHz)
