High power connection systems on commercial vehicles are being targeted by a new line of Power Pack systems from Delphi.
Typical applications include inline applications and direct mating to high-power onboard devices and modules. Specifically, battery cable, electrical centre, alternator/starter motor and front-wall pass-through applications are candidates.
Capable of carrying up to 200A, the Power Pack series have a silver-plated terminal design that allows the connection system to withstand temperatures of up to 155ºC. It also has ease of assembly benefits (it can be engaged and disengaged by hand) and has an indexed configuration designed to prevent plugging misalignment upon installation.
In-line systems have a connector-locking collar. The range also one- and two-way right-angle connection systems.
